A Tuesday Afternoon at the Encino Gym
The call came in around 2:40 PM on a warm Tuesday. Sarah, a marketing director who lives off Hayvenhurst, had just finished a spin class at the gym near the corner of Ventura Boulevard and Balboa. She was standing next to her 2021 Toyota RAV4 in the parking structure, gym bag at her feet, and the fob was gone. Not in her locker. Not in her bag. Not in the studio. She had already retraced her steps twice.

Marco cut the emergency blade first on his portable Miracle A9 machine. That took about four minutes. Then he initialized the blank Toyota smart key, ran the immobilizer pairing sequence, and tested it. Push the brake, press the start button — engine on. He repeated the cycle three times to make sure the fob held the pairing, then walked Sarah through how to lock and unlock the doors with the new fob and where the emergency blade hides.
Total time on site: 47 minutes. She was pulling out of the structure by 3:49 PM and got to Lanai Road with time to spare.

Snap a photo of your VIN. It’s stamped on the lower driver-side corner of the windshield and on the door jamb sticker. Having a photo on your phone helps us pre-load the correct key blank before we leave the shop.
