Do I need to tow my car to the dealer for a replacement key?

Almost never. We cut and program at your location — a driveway off Rinaldi, a lot near Providence Holy Cross, wherever you're stranded — so there's no reason to flatbed it anywhere. Even an all-keys-lost case is handled on-site, because we read the car's computer directly instead of relying on an existing key. The rare exception is a handful of very new or exotic models that only the manufacturer can code.

How much cheaper is this than the dealer?

Usually a good bit less, and you skip the tow bill on top. We can't quote a flat figure blind — a basic transponder key costs far less than a proximity smart key, and it varies by year, make, and model. Do you actually program transponders, or just cut the metal?
